How To Manage Work Schedule Rules Smart Import

Most common error logs and how to fix them

An error log describes an event that causes data failure during the import. Error logs need to be investigated and fixed

The most common types of error logs are:

    • Duplicate records for a Work Schedule Rule in Fewzion
    • Unable to find a match for a Work Schedule Rule
    • Invalid pattern for a Work Schedule Rule

Duplicated record for a Work Schedule Rules in Fewzion

Example: "Multiple Fewzion WSRs in Fewzion data for: S7A00006"

Explanation: More than one Work Schedule Rule exists with the same Id (S7A00006) in Fewzion

Possible Cause: The Work Schedule Rule appears more then once in the Source system

Solution: Contact the Administrators of the Source system and provide the details of the Work Schedule Rule so they can delete the duplicated record(s) from the Source system

Unable to find a match for a Work Schedule Rule

Example: "S7A00006 was not found by exact match."

Explanation: The Work Schedule Rule (S7A00006) was not found in Fewzion by a lookup

Possible Cause 1: The Work Schedule Rule (S7A00006) does not have a lookup that would match this Source value to the relevant Fewzion value

Solution: Add a lookup for the S7A00006 Work Schedule Rule (see more information in the Adding a Lookup section)

Possible Cause 2: The Work Schedule Rule (S7A00006) has a lookup that does not matched to an existing Work Schedule Rule (To column is empty) in Fewzion.

Solution: Select an existing Work Schedule Rule in Fewzion (for more information see the To change the Fewzion value section)

Possible Cause 3: A lookup exists but the From column (Source value) has a typo in its text so the lookup can’t match the Source value to the relevant Fewzion value

Solution: Contact the Administrators of the Source system to get the correct name of the Work Schedule Rule, correct it in the Lookup table and ask them to check the name of the Work Schedule Rule in the Source system (for typos) to avoid further errors

Invalid pattern for a Work Schedule Rule

Example: "Source rows contains a WSR: 'S7A00006' that has a pattern length of 21 and yet only 11 rows. WSR is not created."

Explanation: The Work Schedule Rule has an invalid pattern by missing data (e.g. days) in the Source system

Possible Cause: The number of days returned from the View (that is created in the Source) does not match the pattern length of the Work Schedule Rule

Solution: Contact the Administrators of the Source system and ask them to check and fix the Work Schedule Rule details (e.g. Day Number, Shift, Pattern Length) in the Source system
